It's February!

And....the snow... amiright?

We had to close due to the snow a couple of times, I always want to stay open, but people come from as far as an hour away! We will always let people know via text and email and most of the time I call as well. Winter in New England... what can you do?

As many of you know, I am struggling with my relationship with social media. I always ask customers how they found put about us, and lately people have been saying "instagram!" UGHHHH LOL! I posted a call for art on there, a vary bland basic post with no bells or whistles and for some reason instagram decided to make it semi viral or whatever and people from all over the world, yes... THE WORLD- are contacting me ... I was just looking for some CT based artists or creators to add to our eclectic mix...

It was nice to get a ton more followers but... followers really don't add up to dollars AND I have like 500 emails and messages to read! I deleted the post (it was overwhelming.) So I will post again, also I am looking for instructors to lead workshops in any creative medium.... and see what happens. As far as people seeing our stuff, I pay for ads as well, so I am assuming they find us that way. I am going to keep experimenting, while I have the limited patience I have for the whole social media game so stay tuned...

In the meantime we are actually going to be featured on CT LIVE on Wednesday Feb 11! They came by and did a video thing so keep an eye out and some of our Valentine gift ideas will be featured on FOX 61 in the morning on Feb 12 AND on Channel 3 Great Day CT as well!

If you like these blog posts let me know, I also struggle with the newsletter as 1. Ai is always trying to harsh my flow and 2, newsletters are really formatted and as a person with ADHD it is a struggle for me to get through all the steps to make it happen. (SORRY!) I think it goes to spam a lot as well...

I like to write like this, in an informal style and say "Hey! We have some cool stuff happening at the studio and we have some great gifts for Valentine's day like journals and watercolors an

d retro candy and quirky gifts.. Card and candles and of course handmade pottery!

We only have 2 spots left for Valentine "mini spin" couples dates on Sunday so grab em' quick!

Watercolor Workshop is Wed the 11th at 6, GALENTINES Vision Board COLLAGE PARTY is Sat the 14th at 5pm!
