Returning students will explore individual creativity in this afternoon open studio specifically for creative youths ages 10-17. 1.5 hours every Thursday. 3:00-4:30 3:30-5:00 4:00-5:30 INCLUDES 15.00 ART LIBRARY CREDITS. Credits are used toward clay and canvas. All other supplies are included. Materials fees include use of all studio tools, paint, pencils, stamps, glue, scissors, collage materials, scrapbook paper, stickers, ink, washi tape etc… Clay by the pound includes glazing and 2 firings.

Policies

There are no make-up classes, or refunds, or rescheduling for missed classes. Youth schedules are strictly for ages 10-17 These classes and studio times are for young adults interested in creative arts and will be supervised by an adult instructor who has been vetted and who has worked in multiple school systems. We cannot accommodate children who need full instruction during open studio. Please see our other options if you have a beginner. Children must be independent learners and self directed, however the studio supervisor will assist with guidance and ideas etc but there is no formal instruction. Please bear this in mind before signing up. Please indicate any allergies or notes during checkout. There is no late pick up or early drop off option as this is a retail store. We do not let students leave to walk around Evergreen Walk without parent permission as once they leave our doors we are not responsible for them. Please be sure to include child's age and Emergency Contact info. No cell phones are allowed to be in the work area. We are not responsible for any damages to any electronics so please keep them put away. Students are expected to treat the studio and other participants, and instructor with respect and follow all studio rules and policies. No running. Wear closed toe shoes. Beverages allowed. Please no food/snacks. No Crocs as the floor is sometimes slippery. No Flip Flops. Please no long nails. For wheel class long hair must be tied up. Clean up is part of class and students will be expected to clean up their work areas and assist others in the clean up after class. Students should expect to spend the last 15 minutes of each class cleaning up. Wheel students should understand that clean up is part of class and the expectation is that everyone will assist in clean up, Please make sure your child is aware of these policies before signing them up.
