The Nest is our DiY NON-INSTRUCTIONAL pottery and art making studio here at Little Bird Clay Company.  1. Check out our "Menu" of projects. 2. Choose your timeslot 3. Choose your projects from the drop-down menu 4. Book your timeslot. (Drop in is available but it is best to reserve online or give us a call and let us know you are coming so we can prep your materials. ) Come in to create! We can answer limited questions but please remember "The Nest" DiY studio is NON-INSTRUCTIONAL. If you require assistance, please book an instructional workshop from our workshop menu. The Nest is a creative space designed for adults. Please check the schedule carefully for the age designation for the session you are choosing. Creative youths ages 10 and up may attend with an ADULT ONLY DURING SPECIFIC TIMES so please check before booking. NOTE - Clay "menu" consists of beginner projects designed for success in our shared studio space. Because our DIY projects are premeasured and prepped in advance, we cannot accommodate requests for individual projects during DIY time, Thanks for your understanding. Wet Clay Projects include the following- Pre prepped clay or fired clay piece for the chosen project Instruction sheet Use of all clay rollers and tools Use of all clay texture tools, cutters, and stamps Underglazes and underglaze transfers Bisque firings Dip glazing in clear or our house dip colors Glaze firings Clay projects-glazing turnaround times: 1. Glaze only 2-3 weeks 2. Underglaze or dip glaze choice-3-4 weeks 3. "Return to Glaze" We will contact you after bisque firing, (around 2 weeks) - you will make an appointment to return to glaze at our "Glayze Bar"-Addt'l fee. You must return to glaze within 30 days of bisque fire contact. After you glaze, pots will be available for pick up in 2 weeks. Pots left after 30 days will be discarded. Non-Clay projects include- Framed canvas Canvas panel Wood Panel Collage materials Glue sticks Scissors Scrapbook materials Magazines Scrapbook paper Rubber stamps Ink Watercolor paper Watercolor Paint Acrylic Paint Project examples (when available) Paint by numbers All craft supplies in "The Nest" craft library! NEW! Coffee, Espresso, Latte, Tea, Soft Drinks, and Snacks available for purchase! BYOB and outside food and drinks are available for private parties only. Thanks!
