The Nest is our DiY NON-INSTRUCTIONAL pottery and art making studio here at Little Bird Clay Company.  How it works- 1. Check out our project examples below.  Note the timeframes and difficulty levels.  Choose one and add to cart. 2. Check the schedule for available times.  3. Book a timeslot according to the project you would like to create.  Prices are PER PERSON. Thanks! Not sure what you would like to create? Just book a timeslot.  You can decide and pay upon arrival!  Pre purchasing helps us prep for your arrival. 4. Pay online. Come in to create! All instructions will be provided for your project. Based on the project you choose, you will pay for any additional materials you need during class We will set you up with everything you need to create on your own.  We can answer questions but please remember The Nest DiY studio is NON-Instructional and anyone needing excessive assistance will be recommended to take a class with an instructor.  Please bear this in mind when booking time in The Nest.  The Nest is a creative space designed for adults, however we can accommodate children ages 10-16 with an adult. Please check the schedule carefully for the age designation for the session you are choosing. We have adults only "Crafty Hour" available.  Please see The Nest booking policy before booking. While pottery making can be a cruel mistress, we will help ensure that your creations are kiln ready before you leave. Anyone not following instructions while building risks not only their piece failing but possibly damaging others' work. Project materials prices include- *Clay by the pound includes 2 firings and white or clear house glaze or you can opt to return to glaze at our "Glayze Bar" after your pieces are fired and work with a "Glayze Tender" to glaze your pieces after they are bisque fired. Acrylic paint in over 50 colors Paper Ephemera for collage and scrapbooking and junk journals Glue sticks Scissors Paint brushes Rubber stamps (over 200!) for ink and clay Ink for stamping Markers Colored pencils A variety of clay cutters, rolling pins and all tools for working with clay, hole makers, textured rollers and more.
