Summer Studio Clay Cottage

Summer Studio 7 Clay Cottage or Gnome Home Aug 12-16
Monday -Friday 10am -12 Noon
 
Week 7 Using hand building methods we will create clay mini homes for magical creatures. We will use a variety of forming techniques, molds and more to make mini gnome homes, faity cottages or hedgehog hide outs. Making and glazing all week and pick up will be 3 weeks after class ends.
 
 
All Classes-
 
Focus is on individual creative expression and participants are encouraged to explore their own ideas and create in a relaxed, friendly environment. All canvases, paint, paper, printing materials, clay, glazes and firings are included.
 
Artists are free to work at their own pace, and instructors will teach weekly lessons and techniques and guide students in a zero pressure, supportive, professional manner.
 
Classes are facilitated by experienced working artists and art teachers.

Feel free to bring beverages but no food/snacks are allowed due to potential allergies. Thanks for understanding.
 
Painting paper and print projects can be taken home at week’s end.
 
Pottery projects will be available for pick up 3 weeks after session ends.
 
There are no make up days for missed classes.
